Advanced is a combination of spiritual training and practical life skills with a focus on ministry. We recognize that God has a different plan for everyone and different people need different skills but there are some foundational skills that are helpful to us all. Advanced focuses on giving you those skills and helping you be ready for whatever God calls you to. Thus, we have a wide variety of activities in multiple different areas. Through all of them we long to give you an opportunity to draw closer to God, love Him more, and know Him better.

What You Will Learn

All three weeks will be challenging and stretching. They will teach you personal disciplines including teamwork, Scripture memory, time management, physical fitness training, and leadership skills.

Bring-A-Friend Discount

Adventures are more fun with friends! If a friend of yours attends Uncommon Endeavors, you can both save 15%. When you and your friend have both signed up, email us and we will apply the discount!

*The Bring-A-Friend discount can be applied at any point before you have paid the entire course fee. (If your friend signs up a month after you, we can still apply the discount).

*Only one 15% discount per person, but if you bring multiple friends, they can each get the 15% discount as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer scholarships?

Yes! We want everyone to have the chance to come to Advanced and understand that sometimes it is hard to manage the program fee. Each year we provide scholarships to students who need them. These scholarships may range from a couple of hundred dollars to a full-ride scholarship.

If you are interested, please email us and let us know why you want to come to Advanced, what your needs are, and why we should give you a scholarship. We will evaluate each request and determine how we can make it possible for you to attend.

Our scholarships are based on donations from alumni who want to see others have the same great experience that they had.  

I can't get come for the whole time can I still come?

It is very likely! Reach out to us and let us know your situation. We can probably work it out for you to come for a couple of weeks instead of the whole program.

I have not been to Uncommon Endeavors but want to attend, can I?

Maybe? We do make exceptions for students 17 and older to come to Advanced even if they have not been to Uncommon Endeavors. There are a few activities in Advanced that build on skills learned in Uncommon Endeavors but we offer refreshers in those classes and would be able to get you up to speed. Please reach out if you are interested in an exception and coming to just Advanced.
